With the ever-rising costs associated with operating within the Emergency Medical Service, whether it be for training new and existing employees or just the operational costs for supplies and equipment, we had to look for other avenues of income.

The Avenel-Colonia First Aid Squad Inc. is  currently in the process of forming a charitable Foundation for the purposes of providing charitable contributions, support and to offer educational opportunities to persons and entities of the Emergency Medical Service Community and to provide support and financial assistance to the Avenel-Colonial First Aid Squad Inc.

This Foundation will allow us to continue and expand our programs within the community for seniors and business and aid us to assist perspective EMT’s with the costs of training as well as aiding the Avenel-Colonia First Aid Squad Inc.  with relief of rising costs of operations.

We are currently seeking persons with management and fundraising experience and the available time to staff the Board of Directors and Trustee positions needed.
